Storage Finder
How much storage do I need?
Tell us what you're storing. We'll do the maths, including how much room sleeves and tokens take.
How the finder works
Deck boxes are measured in cards, but sleeves change how thick each card is. We convert your deck into single-sleeved card spaces: unsleeved cards count as about 0.55, single-sleeved as 1, and double-sleeved as 1.33. Then we add about 5% air so the deck slides out without pinching.
How many double-sleeved cards fit in a 100-card deck box?
About 75. A double-sleeved card takes roughly a third more room than a single-sleeved one. That is why a double-sleeved 100-card Commander deck needs a box made for 100 double-sleeved cards, like each box in the DeckDwell 6-pack.
Do Yu-Gi-Oh! cards fit in a standard deck box?
Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are smaller (59 × 86 mm) than Magic or Pokémon cards (63 × 88 mm), so they fit any standard box with a little side room.
What size toploader fits the DeckDwell binder?
Standard 3 × 4 inch, 35pt toploaders, the size most standard trading cards ship in. The binder has four side-loading pockets per page and holds 160 toploaders in total.
Should I leave extra space in my deck box?
A little, about 5%, so cards slide out without pinching. Much more than that and the deck shifts around in transit, which wears sleeve edges.
